NADRA: Your Digital Identity

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) is the central government body managing the digital identity of all Pakistanis. For British Pakistanis, maintaining updated NADRA documentation is the prerequisite for all legal and property dealings in Pakistan.

NADRA offers several products tailored to the needs of overseas Pakistanis, accessible through the "Pak Identity" mobile application or NADRA Registration Centers (NRCs).

Online Power of Attorney (2024 Reform)

A transformative reform for the diaspora is the "Online Power of Attorney" portal. Previously, a British Pakistani had to visit a consulate (London, Manchester, or Birmingham) to physically sign and attest a PoA. The new digital system allows for attestation from home through a secure video call with a NADRA official.
